This is a remake of an older watercolor painting [link] I was never entirely satisfied with a previous version, but I liked the idea, so I wanted to give it another try, with different medium.

The title is thanks to =One-Vox because he told me he liked the cradle effect the trees created. It was either that or a swamp witch (but the swamp turned into a nicer looking forest, so I guess that wouldn't apply anyways)

I don't know which is better, the original or these one! I love the textures in this one though and the light direction!

I don't know why but my favorite part of this painting is the insect-butterfly wings tucked under the grown of her hair. It's just such a nice, subtle touch.
